Deborah grew up in the audio industry and was often in and out of recording studios with her father, studio design pioneer, Eddie Veale. Seeing how bands and musicians harness the power of the media to raise their profile and aid their success struck a chord with Deborah and her creating her own PR company was inevitable.

Deborah is a respected writer and author. She began her writing career when she started her own company Big Sound PR working with those in music and entertainment. Her PR work led to an audio industry journal appointing her to write and edit for a new pro-audio publication; this led to her starting her own industry magazine Behind the Glass specialising in post production and game audio.

During a period of her life caring for a child with mental health difficulties, she felt that there was little help for parents experiencing what she was going through. This led her to penning her own book about the daily challenges she faced as a parent, for parents who might also be going through the same thing but feeling isolated, not knowing how to manage.

Deborah enjoys bringing peoples stories to life and is currently penning an autobiography and memoirs.

Deborah takes direct commissions and is happy to work with publishers and literary agents to ghost write quality books for her clients. Finding a ghost writer is not always easy and can be a lot easier if you already know a ghost or at least a professional writer. Google or referral are often the first ports of call for someone considering penning their autobiography.

Choosing the right ghost is a matter of preference but is something that should not be taken lightly. Any collaboration will inevitably involve a bit of a leap of faith, on both sides but should have the potential for a good, productive working relationship plus a few laughs along the way. The key to a brilliant ghostwriting collaboration is a ghost who will write in your ‘voice’. Your book needs to sound as though you wrote it. If you want the job done properly, you need a professional ghostwriter.
