This book uses interviews with Cliff and the band alongside other musicians to tell the story of how the band went from the ACME skiffle band to Cliff Bennett and The Rebel Rousers where they found fame and fortune. Cliff shares memories and anecdotes from his time rising to fame and his hit single ‘Got To Get You Into My Life.’ Other contributors include Frankie Allen (The Searchers), Bobby Thompson (Kingsize Taylor & the Dominoes), Terry Marshall (Marshall Amplification) and foreword by Pete Townshend (The Who).
Memories of Margaret

[Published Book] Mark is a persistent fundraiser who overcame many challenges to get Chords Crush Cancer off the ground. After his mother Margaret’s diagnosis of breast cancer in 2015, Mark set about raising money for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund who supported her through her illness. Marks fundraising journey in his mothers memory started in 2016 and has been an emotional roller-coaster, packed with tremendous highs and the lowest of the lows. Driven forward by following the morals she taught him; to help and support others who need it the most; Mark created Chords Crush Cancer as a means to raise money. Combining music along with the support from celebrities Mark has raised thousands of pounds and has been awarded for his fundraising and generosity. This book chronicles his journey.
